In this gallery are two projects that were precursors to the embroidered work. "Daily Sunshine Quality" was the result of a weather study over 150 days. The general quality of the sunlight was documented with symbols every day. Months later the data was inventoried and percentages were calculated that then dictated the creation of the final colored pencil drawing after a series of studies. "Weather Project" was an evaluation of the weather on a weekly basis for multiple qualities (sunlight, temperature, air quality, and precipitation) that were then translated into drawings.
